American politics is a fascinating soap opera. Political careers are as resilient as Dynasty, and those 1980’s drama shows which ran for years, were. Indeed the Bush,
This guy is a hit, especially amongst the 70% of Americans who think the U.S is going in the wrong direction and some are even comparing him to the Kennedy of our times. But with his abstract promises of change, and his youthful cult-like following, there is something about him which doesn’t make him quite presidential.
When one looks beyond this phenomenon, things just don’t add up. Apart from the obvious facts that he shares his second name with a tyrant of the later 20th Century, is son to his estranged Kenyan father, went to school in
Students, groupies and Obama fans queue for hours just to be swooned by one of his speeches. But as many live concerts and tours he might do, questions still remain. Who exactly is this guy? What is his connection to the convicted Chicagoan political fundraiser Tony Rezko and why did he not outright reject his Church minister’s award to Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam and a known anti-Semite and racist, who has entices hatred. When it comes down to it, what does he mean by hope and change which is as abstract as Bush’s doctrine of freedom?
Besides, if he were to become President,
Whether she wins or loses, Hillary is the balance to the pendulum and the safe bet to the impulsive and “pop” support of Obama. Ironically, the people voting for her are women over 65 and the unemployed which are the same people who watch daytime soap operas.

why u hatin on barack? Is it a deepseated apartheid influenced mentality that forces you to distrust that which is different, yet offers the most effective change to the world?
Your question "who is this guy" tells me something - it tells me that you distrust him - from your article, it is clear that your distrust stems from a strong support of clinton, rather than mistrust in obama. HAving said this, why have you chosen to bash obama, as opposed to reinforcing the political positions that make hillary your favoured candidate. You seem to be playing the same game as clinton - bashing obama to bring your views up. If i were the writer, I would tout hillary's views, and challenge obama on the basis of his response to these views. This is better than comparing him to a manchurian candidate, and signalling his supposed links to criminal entities. Engage with the issues yo.
Vanderlay, in an age of one hit wonders and 2 week fashions, i remain skeptical about his credentials for the following reasons:
1.there is a saying in Mexico on the lines that one is defined by who they are around. barack hangs around a minister who is openly racist and controversial. why did it take obama 20 years to distance himself from Wright?
2. 2 years as a senator does not equate to experience. the republicans WILL have a field day on this in time ahead
3. what is hope? what is vision? hubbard had a vision and a following and now his legacy is a cult? barack's supporters remain cult-like (as evident in the picture posted)
hillary does not have a squecky clean record, but does not have affiliations to the nation of islam or the kkk on the opposite end. secondly, she has the necessary resume to deal with international politics. bho does not.
politics is like fashion and leaders come and go. but in choosing the leaders, maybe we should try to avoid this fashion tendency for this very reason
in the simpsons, the town of springfield was bowled over by a guy selling a monorail...but the town was left bankrupt and in despair when they realised that the dream they hoped for was not the dream they got.
